With my new interest in TikTok, I’ve ended up in whole new world of social media. An example is the Carolina Raptor Center. The age-old technique of imping to help Raptor return to the wild quickly is fascinating. Developed by falconers to help their birds recover from battles with pheasants and other prey, the technique has changed little over the years.

Both FB and TT lock out embedding code, and I can’t find the video I want to share on YT. At 1:18 minutes, it is the shortest and most to the point video I have run across for imping.

You may be able to hit up YouTube for a video if the above links don’t work for you. Search on “Raptor Imping”. All the ones I found were long-winded and not as clear as the above.
Imping is a fascinating technique, and supporting your local raptor center can help keep these grand animals in the sky.
