Election Time

Vote.

Vote like your rights depend on it.

Vote like your DAUGHTERS and SONS depend on it. Vote like your FRIENDS and COWORKERS rights depend on it.

Because they do.

Normally I don’t pick sides, voting is enough. But based on the past eight years …

Don’t forget people who thought it OK to support and look the other way during what is normally a polite changeover of government. The standard in courtesy after a loss is supporting our nation by helping the incoming president. Giving him or her the information for months in advance to help smooth the transition in government. That didn’t happen. Instead a viper decided to turn on his own Vice President, when the Vice President decided to uphold the Constitution, actively trying to throw him and our nation to a mob.

Remember if the Constitution is done away with, so goes the Bill of Rights. Do you really think someone wanting to change out a democratic republic to an authoritarian government will keep the average citizen armed?

Don’t forget the people who held out country hostage, refusing to choose a Speaker of the House, refusing to put into place generals and military officers so we couldn’t help our allies, refusing to fund our government.

Remember that fearmongering the concept of communism and actively supporting Russia should not go hand-in-hand.

Don’t forget destroying the rights of personal body autonomy for women, voting rights of people of color, breathing rights of different genders … the RIGHTS OF PEOPLE … should be answered with WE THE PEOPLE!!!

Remember we stand together or we fall separate.

Vote.

  1. This election scares me so much. I voted weeks ago (we got mail-in ballots). I hope more people understand what the real stakes are (and don’t vote for the guy they find “entertaining”).
